How fingerprint database helped Delhi cops nab burglars

With the help of National Automated Fingerprint Identification System (NAFIS), Delhi Police has cracked two burglary cases. After two businessmen in Safdarjung Enclave filed complaints about the burglaries, the fingerprints collected from the crime spots were matched with the national fingerprint database of the criminals and the two accused, including a Bangladeshi national, were identified. Both have been arrested.
