Delhi Police to bid adieu to 7,000 British era .303 rifles

The venerable British era .303 rifles, colloquially known as 'three-nought-three rifles', which have been a steadfast presence in the arsenal of the Delhi Police for decades, are slated for retirement, according to a senior officer. The Delhi Police plans to dismantle approximately 7,000 of these firearms, housed in their armoury unit.
