Delhi court acquits 3 brothers in MCOCA case, cites invalid sanction

A Delhi court has acquitted three brothers accused of running an organised crime syndicate. The court found that the sanction for registering the case under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) was invalid. It was determined that the sanction was granted without proper evaluation of the necessary conditions to invoke MCOCA.
