The Delhi Cabinet has approved the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, providing financial aid. Eligible women will receive Rs 2,500 monthly, with registrations starting August 1. The scheme aims to benefit over 17 lakh women across the national capital. The first installment is planned for release on Raksha Bandhan. This initiative will initially run for three years after review.
