Monsoon preparations in Delhi: May date for clean drains

Making preparations for the monsoon, the civic bodies have intensified desilting of drains that have a height of more than four feet. So far, May 31 has been kept as the deadline to complete the work. There are 688 such municipal drains spread over 426km. While 25-30% of the work has been completed, teams in 12 zones have been asked to submit a weekly progress report.
