48 lakh daily journeys will be hit: Delhi Metro

Forty-eight lakh journeys every day to ferry passengers may get affected if Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is asked at this juncture to pay the money awarded by a tribunal to Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt Ltd (DAMEPL), the corporation told Delhi High Court on Monday, seeking time to generate funds for which it has already written to the Centre and the Delhi government.
