LG miffed at lack of facilities for relocated units in industrial areas

Less than 1% of the alternative plots offered to factories in non-conforming areas have been occupied for operations, despite the government making the offer 27 years ago. Basic amenities such as roads, power, sewer lines, water, and transport are still not available at these sites. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has called for responsibility to be fixed on officers who served during this period and for stringent action to be taken against them. The lack of action has led to the emergence of illegal industrial units and worsened air pollution in Delhi.
