NDMC's 1st hi-tech library to be ready by early next yr
New Delhi Municipal Council is constructing its first hi-tech multimedia library next to Navyug School, Mandir Marg. The three-storeyed structure will have a total built-up area of 2,250 sqm and will cost Rs 6.8 crore. The library will have provision for 30,000 books and a total sitting capacity of 200 people. It will feature a multipurpose auditorium, a children's activity area, a multimedia visual room, a research room for PhD scholars, and an e-library. The facility is expected to be fully operational in 4-5 months.
