MCD acts against illegal constructions at 300 places

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has taken action against unauthorized construction in 12 zones, carrying out demolitions at 301 sites and sealing 77 locations in the past 15 days. Most of the action was taken against under-construction properties in unauthorized colonies and agricultural lands used for illegal constructions. The corporation has also asked power and water utilities to disconnect electricity and water connections to ensure that these unauthorized constructions are not used. The corporation plans to continue its efforts to prevent unauthorized construction activities in the future.
