Why 10% of CCTVs in Delhi are offline

Of the 2.2 lakh CCTV cameras installed by the Public Works Department in the city till date, around 20,000 are offline per day. Officials said among the five reasons why the cameras did not capture video were shifting-dismantling of equipment, technical faults, network problems, theft and power cuts.
