Astha Kunj files: The hidden crime corridor Delhi can't seem to fix

A teenage girl’s alleged gang-rape at Delhi’s Aastha Kunj Park has exposed deep security lapses at the 143-acre space linking three temples. Thin guarding, gates that never close, dark spots and missing CCTV have fuelled a string of crimes since 2025. Delhi Police have now ordered audits of all parks, while experts urge better lighting, patrols, gate control and tackling intoxicant supply.
