While northern India may stay dry, southern areas are bracing for significant downpours, particularly in Kerala and Mahe, where isolated heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected. Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand will also experience continued rainfall as the southwest monsoon withdraws earlier than usual across the nation.
