Vikrant Kumar, 26, was taken into custody after reportedly scamming a Delhi Police constable of Rs 24 lakh. He initiated contact on Instagram, seeking advice about police recruitment via the sports quota. Their chats moved to WhatsApp, where he gained her trust with false investment schemes. It wasn't until significant funds had changed hands that she discovered the deceit.
