Cattle-feed bran in Priyagold biscuits, detergent in milk: FSSAI moves to prosecute 3 firms

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has taken decisive legal action against three companies over serious violations of food safety standards. Surya Food & Agro found impurities in its Priyagold biscuits due to the inclusion of cattle-feed bran, raising alarms. Dodla Dairy's milk was deemed hazardous for containing detergent and failing to meet required fat levels.
