NDMC property tax mop-up at an all-time high of Rs 942cr

The New Delhi Municipal Council on Sunday said that it has achieved its highest-ever property tax collection of Rs 942.3 crore. According to the officials, the civic body has seen significant growth in revenue despite not increasing its property tax for the last five years. The body attributed it to a drive focusing on the realisation of past arrears and the launch of a new portal for added taxpayer convenience.
