Delhi HC denies nod to abort 23-week fetus

Delhi High Court on Friday declined to allow an unmarried pregnant woman to undergo medical termination of pregnancy at nearly 24 weeks, saying it virtually amounts to killing the child. The woman had moved the court saying her partner ditched her at the last minute and she is in no position to bring up the child as she comes from a poor family.
