Delhi: Teen forced to work as help, unpaid for 2 yrs

A teenage girl was sent from Jharkhand to Delhi to work as a household help by Sheela, an agent who promised her a good income and better quality of life. The girl’s father, a daily wage worker, was the sole earning member of the family. The girl was placed as a help in an east Delhi house at a salary of Rs 2,500. She did all the household work except cooking for over 15 hours a day. She worked there for more than two years but never received a single paisa.
