Zero-waste colonies: MCD hopes to get help from citizens

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has invited residents of localities in the central zone to share their plans to reduce waste under its zero-waste colony campaign. The municipal officials hoped for full citizens’ participation in this, because, as they admitted, the various earlier campaigns and initiatives, such as on waste segregation and curbing plastic use, hadn’t got the desired results.
