Noida: Sports complex to be built on land proposed for dumpyard

A sports stadium is set to be built in Sector 123 of Noida on a 26-acre plot that was previously planned for a waste-to-energy plant. The complex will include a multipurpose hall, outdoor gym, running tracks, and fields for various sports. The project, estimated to cost Rs 34 crore, will be developed in two phases. The CEO of Noida Authority has instructed the consultant to ensure that the stadium meets international standards and can produce international-level players. The facility will benefit nearby villages and sectors, providing much-needed sports infrastructure.
